Los Angeles colonoscopy
Los Angeles colonoscopy is a procedure where the physician looks inside a person's colon to examine it or obtain sample cells for biopsy. This procedure may be recommended by a physician to a patient who comes in with gastrointestinal problems and other related complaints.

On top of that, doctors will routinely advise patients older than 50 undergo a colonoscopy at least once a year. A patient need not be confined in the hospital in order to undergo this procedure. However, there are preparations to be made beforehand.

The purpose is to clear the intestines and ensure that the doctor will be able to see clearly through the colon. Patient will usually be advised not take any food nor drinks 24 hours prior to the procedure, and will also be given laxatives. It is very important that the instructions are followed to the letter so the doctor can make the most accurate assessment.

PPH is a technique developed in the early 90's that reduces the prolapse of hemorrhoidal tissue by excising a band of the prolapsed anal mucosa membrane with the use of a circular stapling device.

In PPH, the prolapsed tissue is pulled into a device that allows the excess tissue to be removed while the remaining hemorrhoidal tissue is stapled. This restores the hemorrhoidal tissue back to its original anatomical position.
